I am Graduate student currently pursuing my Dual Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management & Management Information Systems from The School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas. I hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering and bring along with me approx. 4.5 years of work experience from IT Industry.

Currently, I am working as a Teaching Assistant to the Director of International Student Exchange and Foreign Study  trips  at School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. I was previosuly working as Operation Research Co-op with Norfolk Southern Corporation as part of Curriculum Practice Tanning (CPT) program of my Masters degree. Before joining Norfolk Southern I worked for the OSIM (Organization Strategy & International Management) department, along with Dr. David Ford as a Research Assistant. I was aiding the process of compilation of data for research study comprising leadership and managerial traits in leaders of Asian continent. We initiated process of data collection from Australia, South Arabia, India, Singapore, Australia and Canada.

Before coming to United States, I had my own proprietorship company Ultratech Engineers. We used to design web based software’s for various Small Scale Industries in Gujarat. My responsibilities included Marketing / Sales Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management & Operations of the firm. Majority of my time on later stages was been spent on Business development of the firm.

I hold several awards and recognitions on International as well as National level from IEEE which is one of the world’s largest professional association for the advancement of technology, with 375,000 members worldwide. I hold one of the most prestigious IEEE Region 10 Larry K. Wilson Award for Leadership 2006, been awarded to me by the regional board of directors of IEEE Region 10. I am the “only student” to receive this award in entire Asia Pacific for year 2006-07. (300+ applications among 23000 Student Members in Asia)

In addition I was selected as Student Section Ambassador by IEEE Gujarat section to represent Gujarat and Indian Council at IEEE Student Congress 2006 hosted by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. I recently represented University of Texas at Dallas, and IEEE Dallas Section with in capacity of Chairperson of IEEE GOLD Affinity group of Dallas at annual Section congress.

I have hands on experience on Project scheduling & implementation, Internet product concept development and implementation. Developing and managing high-impact teams, rapid time-to-market deployments, Supply Chain Optimization, Transportation and Routing and Operations Research.
